First Place for Health, a Christ-centered total-wellness program, will be offered at Mount Carmel.

Maybe you are struggling with losing 5 to 10 pounds or are battling obesity. Perhaps you want to
increase your knowledge about nutrition, to get help with implementing a consistent exercise plan or
to learn how to develop a healthy lifestyle for your family. Perhaps you want a closer walk with God in
your everyday life. Whatever your reasons, you’ll soon discover that First Place for Health is a
biblically based, medically trustworthy wellness program that addresses the whole person—physical,
mental, emotional and spiritual.

To join the program, you will also need to purchase a basic membership kit and the Be Free Bible study directly from First Place. The kit and Bible study are 79.99 together.

More than 200 families have signed up to receive assistance, there will be various opportunities to serve from 7:30a-1:30pm ranging from set up, helping with children's crafts, distributing groceries to take home, serving prepared food to eat onsite and everyone's favorite, clean up!

Phase Family: High School

Hey parents! You are invited to attend the high school 2nd Shift Gathering on November 17 at 6:00 pm. We'll enjoy a time of musical worship, a family meal, and then break out into a few different electives. Parents will hear Didi & Shannon Bacon, and Brian Davis, a licensed counselor, talking about the high school years and what is to come. Subjects like the ACT, college, workforce, and the emotions that surround these life events will be discussed.

Students will break off with a panel of their leaders, and other Mount Carmel young adults to talk in a similar fashion.

We are planning to increase our Christmas decor throughout the church this year, and would like to invite you to help us with this transformation! The date is Monday, November 25th from 5:00 - 8:00pm. Food will be provided, so no need to worry about getting dinner before you come!

We will need many hands to help put up lots of pre-lit trees, hang wreaths, and put up outside lights on the shrubs. Most of the trees will be kept natural with no ornaments, etc., just white lights. There will be two very tall feature trees that will have ornaments.

If you would like to join us, please register. (Registration isn’t mandatory to attend, but will be helpful in providing food and organizing teams). If you are unable to arrive by 5:00, just join us when you can, indicating your arrival time on the registration page. Feel free to share this link with spouses, other family members, friends, etc. who you think would like to help. We could use some men as well!

This will be a fun time of connection and serving together as we create a warm and beautiful environment for all who come through our doors this Christmas season. It’s all about Jesus!

During the busyness of the holiday season, we want to give families an opportunity to come together and have fun while learning about the true meaning of Christmas.

Families will play games together, hear a short message about the true meaning of Christmas, and make gingerbread houses together.

If you have questions about or are interested in exploring membership here, join our Open House class. This class, led by a member of our teaching team, will help you explore Mount Carmel's beliefs, ministry philosophy, church history, leadership structure, and membership information. Childcare is available upon request.
