The 4 D's
November 5, 2020 | Didi Bacon
I have been using the 4 D's for at least three years as a way to jump-start conversations in my discipleship groups, my small group, and in staff meetings. Group members and meeting participants are encouraged to share their 4 D's: Delight, Drain, Discovery, and Determination.
The 4 D's method is a great way to facilitate the heart to heart connections we need to minister to one another. I learned about the conversational approach from Alan Ahlgrim, the leader of a Covenant Group I was a part of from 2016 to 2019.
Please check out Alan's latest blog post, which explains the significance of the 4 D's for fostering meaningful conversation with those few that God brings into our lives to "spur one another on towards love and good deeds." (Hebrews 10:24 NIV).
